Dorm Diaries 1

Ok, so some of the activities at camp were fun (I’ll talk about that later) but, the real fun happened in the dorm- now dorm diaries #3 (2 house wives, 2 sides and Dante) was probably the most FUN (well not very fun- but eventful) the first night was very fun for us. So lemme start with the dorm drama when we arrived. So, the teachers had planned all the dorms out so all the dynamics worked, to keep the fighting at a minimal. Now here we’re the dorms

Despite the teachers best planning the councilors said, “go pick your dorm 😈” there was chaos friends trying to stay together, me My one friend and my one other friend where running trying to stay together, and the teachers where unpacking in their dorms. Nothing can describe the chaos that happened. My one friend was practically unpacking his bag in the corridors because He iS So CoOl WiTh NoT HaViNG A dOrM I was on the verge of just breaking down, because people kept bumping into me, I was lugging a lot of very heavy bags and my other friend wait where is he, oh yeah HE STRAIGHT UP SND LEFT FOR LIKE 5 MINUTES eventually the teachers came and played damage control and tried there best to organize the dorms so grade 5D boys would be in one dorm grade 6KW would be in one dorm, you get the point. So here are the classes and dorms

See something- room 4 is empty, and there are 16 in kids in room 1. So Ms.Dilley walks in and says, “william, my one friend, my other friend, dante, billy, poker bro and book kid. Come with me” so we walk to room 4, the teacher says, “this rooms open if you want to stay here instead” and it looks like this

This was heaven. I run back grab my suit case and run in. I grab the bottom bunk near the entrance and set up. I was ready to conquer the night.

4 hours later. I stumble in ready for bed, I brush my teeth. And hop into my sleeping bag ready to sleep. This is where the shenanigans of the night started. Now I can’t recall how it all started but about 10 minutes in I record my thoughts in my note book, I asked my other friend for the time and write what’s happening, enjoy.

8:53 we chat about the day, chaos dorms, teams and activities.

8:59 teacher walks in and tells us it’s lights out and to go to sleep.

9:03 billy farts.

9:11 we talk about dreams, nightmares, sleep paralysis, lucid dreams and so much more

There was no time from here on out, jama stopped responding to my calls.

Power cuts off for lights out.

My one friend doesn’t know what’s happening and runs out to ask the teachers if it’s load shedding or what.

I open a packet of tennis biscuits.

Billy tells us about his sleep paralysis demon Tom, whose actually really really friendly, but his evil brother isn’t.

Me and billy peak though the curtain. Ms.NV gave us a death stair, like probably.

Poker bro and my other friend are both confirmed to be asleep

My one friend tells us about lucid nightmares and how scary they are

Book dude is scared

Ok here I just wrote, “darn I’m hungry… maybe I’ll make some ramen… nahh” then I opened a packed of eat-som-ores.

Gavi falls asleep.

Gavi wakes up.

Lights come back on signaling that it’s 10pm.

We tell more sleep paralysis and lucid nightmare stories.

Everyone except me, billy and gavi is scared

Ms.Mattos walks in and this is the conversation that happened. She walks in and says, “Guys listen, you are the last dorm awake, please guys go to sleep” billy replies, “but toms behind the door!” Ms.Mattos reluctantly opens the door, and nothings there. Then we all say goodnight.

Ms.mattos leaves.

Dante says, “think happy thoughts.” Then Ms.Mattos says, “you know I’m still here right?”

After this there’s no writing so I assume I fell asleep

Ps. Sorry for the lack of articles recently. I have been so busy with school tests and work and stuff, but I’ll be back to articles soon!
